V-Listen Initiative's primary goal is to fight social stigma and spread awareness about Mental health Issues (MHIs). To accomplish these and other goals we run specific campaigns. Our flagship campaigns are, "You are not alone" campaign which is designed as a means of letting MHI sufferers know that they are not alone in their struggles, and the "You share, we listen" campaign which is a platform through which MHI sufferers get to tell their story to the world and thus dispel many of the misconception around MHIs. Vlisten's 12 Steps on the Road to Recovery

A twelve-step program is a set of guiding principles outlining a course of action for recovery from depression, addiction, and other mental health issues. V-Listen's program is a combination of the recovery self-help methods followed by International NGOs from across the world
01.  We accept that we have lost control of our emotions and our lives have become unmanageable as a result.
02.  We recognise that many other people are going through the same problems as we are
03.  We recognise that we stand a better chance of making it through together than alone.
04.  We made a searching and fearless inventory of ourselves.
05.  We admitted to another person what the exact nature of our problem is.
06.  We learned to use reason to recognise our errant thoughts and master them.
07.  We recognise that social issues have played big part in creating our issues
08.  We went out into the world, connected with other people and helped address these issues.
09.  We formed meaningful connections with people and gained strength.
10.  We developed the willpower to control our negative impulses.
11.  We continued to take personal inventory, and when we were wrong, promptly admitted it.
12.  We are ready to face the world and help others who are going through what we once went through.
